Solved : Desperately need HELP! Silent Install, Multi-user, data folder in LocalService directory
Here are what I did to solve the problems:
Problem 1 : Workspace folder was created in C:\notes\data\
I customized Transforms file (.mst file) to install data files in "C:\notes\data" thinking that whatever I put here didn't matter (I thought it will be ignored) I was wrong. I put DATADIR back to default value which is "C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\Data" which prevents Data(& Workspace) folder created in C:\Notes. It still creates workspace folder in C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\Data, but I'm happy with the result because my goal was not to have data folder in C:\Notes (because some batch file/script that I create checks if there is Data folder in C:\Notes to differentiate between Single & multi-user (i.e. If c:\notes\data is NOT EMPTY then it's single. If c:\notes\data IS EMPTY/DOES NOT EXIST then it's multi))
I also removed "AllUsers=1" from command line because I didn't think it was doing anything to solve this problem.
Problem 2 : Data folder was created in C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\
Disabling Symantec anti-virus didn't seem to be enough to avoid this problem. I had to uninstall the software, and that fixed the problem.
Hope this helps.... :-D
